from cancer, chances are you have heard about the Joe Tippens Cancer Protocol.
The Fenbendazole Cancer Protocol has been gaining rapid interest over the past
years following some
fenbendazole advanced cancer success stories and a recent peer-reviewed publication, "Real-world Clinical Outcomes of Ivermectin and Mebendazole in Cancer Patients: Results from a Prospective Observational Cohort (Anticancer Research 2026)"
We have seen tremendous demand for some sort of guide on how to use
fenbendazole for cancer as there is also tremendous confusion both from the
healthcare and non-healthcare communities.
Joe Tippens founded the protocol (1) after he was told a story about a scientist at Merck Animal Health that had been performing cancer research on mice. The research included injecting different types of cancers into different mice body parts. The scientists discovered, through trial and error, a product in their canine product line, fenbendazole, that was batting 1.000 in killing these different cancers in the mice. The scientist was later diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer and was given a grim prognosis of only three months to live. She decided to try the fenbendazole, and after six weeks, showed a clean scan.
Joe Tippens had been initially diagnosed with small cell lung cancer (SCLC). The cancer later spread to his neck, right lung, stomach, liver, bladder, pancreas and tail bone. Like the scientist from Merck Animal Hospital, Joe was told he only had three months to live. In 2017, after hearing the story of the scientist who treated her cancer with a canine drug, Joe decided he was going to do the same.
However, in addition to taking fenbendazole, Joe Tippens incorporated several other agents into his regimen, including curcumin, CBD oil, and vitamin E, thereby creating what became known as the Joe Tippens Cancer Protocol. As a result, the protocol is not a monotherapy, but rather a multi-component complementary regimen consisting of fenbendazole alongside several dietary supplements.
Peer-reviewed studies published in Nature Portfolio journals have provided preclinical evidence supporting the investigation of benzimidazole antiparasitic drugs as potential anticancer agents.
A 2018 study published in Scientific Reports demonstrated that the veterinary antiparasitic drug fenbendazole acts as a moderate microtubule-destabilizing agent and exhibits anti-tumor activity in human cancer cell lines and animal models.
A 2021 study published in Acta Pharmacologica Sinica reported that benzimidazole compounds—including mebendazole, and fenbendazole—showed promising activity against glioblastoma (GBM) in preclinical models. The researchers found that these compounds inhibited tumor cell proliferation and migration, induced cell-cycle arrest, and triggered programmed cell death through mechanisms including apoptosis and pyroptosis.
Together, these studies provide a scientific rationale for further research into benzimidazole compounds as potential cancer therapies. They demonstrate that there is a growing body of preclinical evidence supporting their anticancer potential, although well-designed human clinical trials are still needed to establish their safety and efficacy in cancer patients.

Panacur C is the most popular dog dewormer, it is made by a company named Merck. There are two versions of fenbendazole distributed by this company. One is called Safeguard which is specifically designed for deworming house pets, while Panacur C is designed for setting farms.
Fenben Lab is a company that distributes fenbendazole to the consumers worldwide. This company sells fenbendazole in the form of powder just without any fillers.
Homelab Vet is another company that distributes fenbendazole. They offer fenbendazole in many forms like powder, liquids and oral tablets. This company is based in Ukraine and offers worldwide shipping.
Sigma-Aldrich, which is considered the biggest chemical product manufacturer as well as supplier in the world. It also distributes fenbendazole. This company mainly focuses on producing analytical quality products that are mainly used for research purposes.
Most of these products are available online and can be easily bought on websites like Amazon. These products can also be found in local pharmacies.
Joe Tippens was also a participant of the Keytruda (pembrolizumab)
clinical trial at the MD Anderson Cancer Center (source).
Tippens took the dog medicine with other daily vitamin supplements
(Vitamin D, Curcumin, Berberine and Quercetin) and CBD oil. He was
also taking an experimental cancer fighting drug (pembrolizumab?).
But Tippin says out of the 1100 patients on that clinical trial, he
was the only one cleared of cancer. Tippens says he was saved by the
dog dewormer. And he plans to take it for the rest of his life.
A "Systematic Review of 145 Case Reports on the Use of Ivermectin and
Benzimidazoles (Fenbendazole and Mebendazole) in Advanced Cancer
Treatment (2025)" suggests potential anti-cancer effects of ivermectin and
benzimidazoles, warranting further investigation through rigorous
clinical trials. However, since most published case reports represent
positive outcomes while negative or neutral cases are less frequently
reported, the overall findings may be subject to publication bias.
Therefore, these promising observations can only be confirmed or refuted
by well-designed, controlled studies.
Joe’s scan was completely clear in early 2017. His scan in Feb.
2022 still shows no evidence of disease.
Since cancer is notorious for recurrences, Joe continues to
follow his regimen for prevention… and plans to for the rest of
his life. However, he recently revamped the rest of his entire
cancer treatment protocol.
Joe has scaled back to three days a week on the FenBen, now that he’s been cancer-free for five years. He recommends staying on the seven-day fenbendazole protocol till you’re cancer-free for at least three years.
Based on his extensive research, he’s added things to his protocol. including Frankincense and berberine. All products are in a much more bioavailable form, too. He notes that getting absorption of nutrients into the bloodstream is a bigger problem than most people realize. His new protocol helps address this problem.
Joe spent much of 2021 collaborating with scientists and M.D.’s in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical space, to develop processes that dramatically improve nutrient delivery into the bloodstream at previously unheard-of levels.
Here’s the three-pronged approach he uses in 2022 (R):

In summary, three patients with different primary genitourinary
tumors who demonstrated complete response after receiving FBZ
therapy. This raises the question of how effective FBZ can be as
an anti-oncogenic agent and merits further investigation.

What Is Fenbendazole?
Fenbendazole is a broad spectrum anthelmintic used against gastrointestinal parasites including: giardia, roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, the tapeworm genus Taenia (but not effective against Dipylidium caninum, a common dog tapeworm), pinworms, aelurostrongylus, paragonimiasis, strongyles, and strongyloides that can be administered to sheep, cattle, horses, fish, dogs, cats, rabbits, most reptiles, freshwater shrimp tanks as planaria and hydra treatments, as well as seals.Common brand names include Pancur, Panacur C and Safe-Guard.
Note: In everyday conversations within the fenbendazole
communities, you might encounter Fenbendazole referred to as
Phenbendazole, Panacur or SafeGuard. This interchangeability is
representative of the common use of the trademarked name; it signifies a
consensus within these circles that these terms denote the same
medication. Fenbendazole is the active ingredient in all these products.
Molecular formula for fenbendazole is C15H13N3O2S.
However, it is also being used by humans in a cancer treatment method

Is fenbendazole a cancer cure scam? One study suggests that fenbendazole
has “been safely utilized as an anti-parasitic for various different
animal species and could be repurposed for treating human malignancies.”
Other benzimidazoles, including albendazole, parbendazole, mebendazole and flubendazole have already been shown to have promising

Another study (Nature) states that the “repurposing of veterinary drugs

What are the recommended doses of fenbendazole for cancer in humans?
Fenbendazole 222 mg (1 gm of Panacur™) per day every day. It can be mixed
with food such as yogurt or simply taken by itself.
It is advised to purchase Panacur C (powder) brand only, as it's regulated and has been consistent in third-party lab results.

will not uptake into your blood stream unless taken with food or fats. I

2. Onco Adjunct Pathway 1: CBD, Frankincense and Nano C60 Carrier
Pathway 1: CBD Tincture: CBD has always been part of his protocol, but
the new product will incorporate some important changes.
As we have learned more about the potential benefits of hemp extracts
we have discovered that the species of hemp, the methods of its
extraction, the ratios of acidic forms of cannabinoids to non-acidic
forms of cannabinoids all play a critical role in how well Hemp
extracts can have on cancer outcomes.

3. Onco Adjunct Pathway 2: Curcumin and Quercetin
Curcumin has always been part of Joe Tippens protocol, but even the
product that he has previously recommended, Theracurmin HP, simply does
not tackle the problem of absorption into the blood stream.
You all know I have recommended Theracurmin for some time as being
the best, most highly bioabsorbable Curcumin I had found. What I
didn’t know about was Ultra Botanica’s LPS technology UltraCur
(UltraCurcumin). Data shows better absorption above Theracurmin by at
least 6X and their consumer experience proves this out. Their product
by itself is a game changer in curcumin and I would have left it at
that except the science behind Quercetin, an equally important
polyphenolic compound as Curcumin also using their LPS technology to
make it absorb into the body.
Previously I had been reluctant to recommend Quercetin (also
recommended by Jane McClelland and many others) as it had the same
problem as Frankincense and Curcumin in absorption into the blood

Clinical Evidence: A review paper published in 2022, analysed 21 human studies. Sixteen out of 21

in relieving the side effects of cancer chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

cancer (Arslan 2022), which is really odd since cancer consists of a wide variety of
different molecular pathologies.

4. Onco Adjunct Pathway 3: Berberine
None of you have heard me recommend Berberine up to this point, even though many researchers have recommended it. Much like Frankincense, Curcumin and Quercetin, Berberine also is not bio-available into the blood stream. Something this company’s LPS technology solves.
In evaluating the new curcumin and new hemp options I had the
opportunity to take a fresh look at Berberine. As most people know,
cancer cells are devourers of sugars / glucose in the body. In fact,
cancer cells are glucose monsters.
Jane McClelland and many cancer coaches strongly recommend starving
your cancer cells by ketogenic diets, and Care Oncology recommends
Metformin in its protocol for the same reason. For those of you that
are serious about starving your cancer cells from glucose, adding in
Pathway 3 to your regime could help.
Berberine in its soluble LPS form modifies glucose metabolism in much
the same way that Metformin modifies glucose metabolism. The
scientists in India proved that Fenbendazole is effective in
interrupting cancer cells’ ability to metabolise sugars and I believe
by adding in UltraBerberine as Onco-Adjunct Pathway 3 you further
diminish the ability of cancer cells to devour glucose, weaking them
and putting their survival at risk.

Dr Mukhopadhyay from MD Anderson first discovered mebendazole has
potent anti-cancer activity in lab experiments in 2002.
Confounding Factors: Was it Fenbendazole or was it Keytruda?
Tippens told Koco 5 News:
That said, Tippens' outcome may have been also be driven by genetic
factors such as microsatellite instability or a high mutational
burden, which are strongly associated with favorable responses to
immunotherapy.
In advanced rectal cancer for instance,
a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine (2022) reported a 100% complete response rate in mismatch
repair–deficient (dMMR), locally advanced rectal cancer treated
with dostarlimab, an anti–PD-1 monoclonal antibody. An updated
publication in
NEJM (2025) showed, among the 103 patients who completed treatment across
both cohorts, 84 had a clinical complete response. Among the 117 total
patients, recurrence-free survival at 2 years was 92%; the median
follow-up for recurrence was 20.0 months (range, 0 to 60.8).

Despite multiple anecdotal stories and news outlet reports for its efficacy in treating metastatic cancer, the clinical literature behind utilizing FBZ (fenbendazole) as a potential anti-neoplastic agent remains nonexistent. Existing scientific studies have primarily studied its mechanism of action through the use of animal models. In a study published in Clin Oncol Case Rep (2020), researchers from Stanford describe three cases where patients achieved complete responses, including two who experienced progression after multiple lines of therapy, when FBZ was used alone or in combination with standard therapies.According to the authors:
Prior studies have demonstrated cancer response to immune
checkpoint inhibitors such as nivolumab as a third-line agent in
mRCC (metastatic renal cell carcinoma). The duration of therapy
was often much longer requiring a median therapy duration of 6
months with 24% overall response rate in third-line treatment.
It is possible that our first patient with mRCC would have
achieved a significant response to nivolumab alone without FBZ.
However, given the complete radiologic response on only 1 month
of immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy, it also seems likely
that FBZ played a notable role in inducing remission. This is
supported by the fact that our patient has remained in extended
remission while only on FBZ for nearly a year without further
administration of immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy.

Can fenbendazole be taken in tablet, liquid or powder?
Fenbendazole is available in powder (Panacur). There may be other formulations available, but those are the primary products that patients are using.
Is it safe for humans to take fenbendazole?
Since fenbendazole is a veterinary medicine, and is
not licensed for human use and there is no specific
human safety data available. The similar human forms
of this class of medications, mebendazole and
albendazole, have been used for parasitic infections
for many years and have a good safety record.
Fenbendazole has been reported to have a very low
degree of toxicity and a high degree of safety in
animal experiments. Do not follow the weight-dependent
dosing (for dogs) that is given on the back of the
packaging!

- Ivermectin (25 - 50 mg/day, 6 days a week) or in the case of severe aggressive cancers up to 1mg/kg/day.
- Mebendazole (250 - 500 mg/day, 6 days a week) or Fenbendazole, commonly taken at 300 mg for six days a week, with doses increasing to up to 1 gram in cases of aggressive cancers.
- Bio-Available Curcumin (600 mg per day, 7 days a week).
- Enhanced absorption Berberine (500 mg per day, 7 days a week).
- Diet and Lifestyle:
- A 2026 study (American Association for Cancer Research), linked Ultra-Processed Foods to Reduced Survival after Cancer. Sugar, starch, saturated fat packed into ultra-processed food not only associated with obesity, diabetes, and heart disease, it also worsens cancer prognosis.

I had gastric bypass surgery in 2000 and have recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer.. I am following your protocol but wondering if it should be modified for my bypass?
ReplyDeleteYou fail to mention that Joe also did Keytruda and radiation. I'm not saying that those did anything for him, but still, full transparency is nice. For turbo cancer or advanced cancer or very aggressive cancer the dosage should be 2mg per kg of Ivermectin according to Dr Makis.

ReplyDeleteI can’t speak for leimyosarcoma, but I had my 9 year old Whippet on 1 gram of Safe Guard Fenbendazole for Hemangiosarcoma, the Vet gave her 3 to 4 weeks max due to the 40 lemon size tumors she had. I decided on the 3 days on 4 days off and about 6 months the tumors were gone and my dog lived for a year & 1/2. Unfortunately I had to put her down from a spinal injury but the Fenbendazole worked really well for my Daisy girl. I would be taking fenbendazole and getting off all sugar and go to a plant base juice diet if I was diagnosed with any cancer, but that’s me! Hope this helps!
