OneDayMD – The Medical Advisor

Quick Answer

OneDayMD is an independent, evidence-graded health-information publisher founded in 2012 and part of the One Day Media Network. We are a research-synthesis and patient-education platform — not a clinic, and not a substitute for a treating physician — covering integrative oncology, wellness, longevity medicine, and repurposed-drug research for readers in the United States, Singapore, and Malaysia. Every clinical claim is tagged with an evidence grade, affiliate relationships are disclosed, and content is reviewed on an ongoing basis as new evidence emerges.

What Is OneDayMD?

OneDayMD is an independent online medical intelligence network. We're a team of healthcare researchers, clinical writers, and digital-health strategists who have come together to synthesise decades of combined experience across wellness, integrative oncology, regenerative medicine, and consumer health advocacy.

The "One Day MD" program began in 2012 as an intensive crash course for non-medical hires entering the pharmaceutical industry — a way to give newcomers the clinical context they needed in a single, high-density session. It has since grown into a broad, open-access platform offering independent, evidence-graded guides on wellness, diet, lifestyle medicine, integrative oncology, and emerging therapies.

At its core, OneDayMD is about empowerment, not influence. We don't sell a viewpoint. We curate, synthesise, and present the best available evidence — including evidence that mainstream channels are sometimes slow to cover.

Our Story

Finding specific, reliable, actionable health information online has never been harder. Search results are increasingly dominated by institutional messaging, advertorial content, and algorithmically flattened summaries. AI tools — including ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, and Claude — are useful starting points but can produce generalised or inaccurate answers when the stakes are high and clinical nuance matters.

Even with our team's combined healthcare backgrounds, we've been continually surprised by how much conflicting information circulates — across mainstream media, social platforms, advertisements, and AI-generated content alike. Separating credible evidence from marketing narrative is close to a full-time job, and most readers don't have that kind of time.

OneDayMD was built to close that gap. We believe a patient who understands their condition, the available evidence, and the full range of therapeutic options — conventional and integrative — makes better decisions and gets better outcomes. Reading credible sources won't make you a physician overnight, but it's a real first step toward becoming an informed advocate for yourself and the people you care for.

Why do some articles carry an "Editorial Team" byline instead of a named author? An author's identity matters far less than the accuracy of what they've written. Some contributors write anonymously because publishing emerging or contrarian clinical evidence isn't always commercially comfortable for them individually. We stand behind the integrity of the content, not the byline — and we're expanding named, credentialed authorship across the network over time (see Our Team).

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: make health information accessible, transparent, and freely available to anyone who needs it. No paywall, no gatekeeping — open access to research, emerging clinical data, and real-world patient experiences from around the world.

We believe health information shouldn't be restricted to large institutions, industry insiders, or people who can afford expensive private consultations. By connecting published evidence, emerging research, clinical reasoning, and verified patient experience, we aim to help readers and practitioners think critically and make more informed decisions.

How We Grade & Review Evidence

OneDayMD is positioned as an evidence-literate medical intelligence platform bridging conventional medicine and emerging, off-label, and integrative therapies. We think of it as a clinical thinking platform for patients, clinicians, researchers, and informed consumers navigating conditions where standard care is incomplete, stagnant, or still evolving.

We're building an archive of what we call "pre-consensus medicine." Five years from now, some of the hypotheses we document will be disproven; some will be validated; a few may become standard of care. Our credibility depends on being early without being reckless — which is why every clinical claim on the site is tagged with an evidence grade, sourced to a primary reference, and clearly distinguished from mechanistic data, case series, or randomised trial evidence.

Grade Source Type
1a / 1bSystematic reviews, meta-analyses, randomised controlled trials
2 / 3Cohort studies, case-control studies, observational data
4Case series, patient-reported outcomes, expert clinical opinion
5Mechanistic, preclinical, in vitro / animal-model data

Our editorial process:

  • Every clinical claim is tagged with a CEBM-based evidence grade using the table above.
  • Named case reports and patient outcomes are sourced from peer-reviewed publications, clinical registries, or direct correspondence with treating clinicians, and labelled accordingly.
  • Articles are re-reviewed as new trial data, regulatory actions, or safety signals emerge; the "Last updated" date on each article reflects its most recent review.
  • Corrections: if you spot an error, contact us (see Contact) and we'll review it and update the article, with a visible note where the correction is material.
  • Affiliate and partnership relationships never influence evidence grading or which studies we cite — see our full disclosures.

Who We Serve

Wellness and integrative medicine are complicated even for trained clinicians. If medical professionals find parts of healthcare hard to navigate, how are ordinary readers supposed to make major decisions with confidence?

OneDayMD exists to help you make not just informed decisions, but wise ones — translating complex clinical evidence into clear, actionable language without dumbing it down. Our coverage centres on:

🎗 Integrative Oncology

Repurposed drugs, metabolic therapy, off-label protocols, and the emerging science behind treatments your oncologist may not raise.

🌿 Wellness & Longevity

Supplements, diet, lifestyle medicine, and regenerative therapies — evidence-graded and written for consumers, not clinicians.

🤝 Patient Advocacy

Real patient case reports, outcome data, and practical guides for navigating the healthcare system with complex or poorly managed conditions.

🌏 Southeast Asia Focus

Dedicated coverage for Singapore, Malaysia, and the wider region — an audience underserved by global health media.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is OneDayMD a medical clinic, telehealth service, or treatment provider?

No. OneDayMD is an independent publisher of evidence-graded health information. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. For direct clinical care, we refer readers to our telehealth partner, The Wellness Company, or their own licensed physician.

Who writes and reviews the content on OneDayMD?

Content is produced by the OneDayMD editorial team — a mix of named and anonymous contributors with backgrounds in healthcare research, clinical writing, and digital health — and passes through an internal review for evidence grading, sourcing, and disclaimer compliance before publication.

Why are some OneDayMD articles credited to "Editorial Team" instead of a named author?

Some contributors write under the Editorial Team byline because publishing emerging or contrarian clinical evidence isn't always commercially comfortable for them individually. We stand behind the accuracy of the content itself rather than any single byline, and we're expanding named, credentialed authorship across the network over time.

What does OneDayMD's evidence-grading system mean?

Every clinical claim is tagged with a grade from 1a (systematic reviews and randomised controlled trials) down to 5 (mechanistic, preclinical, or animal-model data), so readers can see how strong — or how early-stage — the underlying evidence is.

Does OneDayMD get paid to promote products, drugs, or clinics?

OneDayMD participates in affiliate programmes, including The Wellness Company and the Amazon Associates Programme, and may earn a commission on qualifying referrals or purchases. These relationships are disclosed and do not influence which studies we cite or how we grade evidence.

How often is OneDayMD's content updated?

High-priority topics — repurposed-drug protocols, emerging trial data, dosing guidance — are reviewed and updated on an ongoing basis as new evidence, regulatory actions, or safety signals emerge. Each article displays its most recent review date.

Is anything on OneDayMD a substitute for professional medical advice?

No. All content is for educational purposes only. Always consult a qualified, licensed healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any medication, supplement, or treatment plan — including any off-label or repurposed-drug protocol discussed on this site.

How can I report an error or suggest a correction?

Email info[at]aestheticsadvisor[dot]com or use the contact form. We review correction requests and update the article with a visible change note where the error is material.
