Ivermectin and The Soul of Medicine
This kindly family doctor was voted the Physician of the Year, and he went on a mission to save humanity from the pandemic. He teamed up with Yale's Dr. Harvey Risch to tell the world about Hydroxychloroquine - and later about Ivermectin. He traveled to the Senate to inform the public that there was a better way.
A Godly man, he remains true to humanitarian values, relationships, and people. He lives by ethics and his sacred Hippocratic oath. It was not enough for him to save his local small-town patients; he was duty-bound to share his ideas.
Despite saving many lives, the State Medical Board threatened him. His license to practice was jeopardized, not because of poor care but because his actions threatened corporate profits. He went far above and beyond what was required. And as with many men of courage, this doctor's actions were rewarded, and he was vindicated.
Beyond being named Physician of the Year, this man of medicine deserves greater accolades. Because he placed patient interests above his own, he became a hero.
By now, you must be familiar with the man who accomplished all this. With his associate, Dr. Brian Tyson, Dr. George Fareed is that heroic doctor, a physician's physician, now a role model not just for today's doctor but also for all time. Dr. George Fareed will go down in history as one of the dominant symbols of morality and ethics in the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, today the physician on whom I shine the spotlight is another hero, a soft-spoken man like Dr. Fareed who shares many of the same experiences and accomplishments - another doctor's doctor, and another man deserving the pages of history.
Today I refer not just to my mentor, the distinguished Harvard graduate, former professor, and NIH researcher who participated in saving 7,000 patients from COVID-19. Instead, today I also call attention to the actions of Dr. Scott Jensen, a small-town family physician who practices in Watertown, Minnesota, a community of some 4,000 people.
However, unlike Dr. Fareed, Dr. Jensen did not graduate from an Ivy League Medical School. Instead, he is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Medicine, where he also taught. In addition, Dr. Jensen is more than a tiny bit religious; he attended Luther Northwest Theological Seminary for a year before he found his calling in medicine. He graduated class valedictorian from his high school. Later, he was named a Bush Fellow in Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Minnesota. However, the parallels between Drs. Fareed and Jensen are uncanny and illustrate exactly what a great physician can accomplish against rising forces of evil.
Both doctors won their state's Physician of the Year awards; the California Medical Association named Fareed the 2015 California Rural Physician of the Year.
Jensen was selected Minnesota's 2016 Family Physician of the Year by the Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians.

Both criticized Dr. Fauci for being captured by Big Pharma and not acting in patients' best interests. So, Dr. Fareed penned his now-famous Open Letter to Dr. Fauci, published originally in The Desert Review.

When Fareed spoke at our church, he said if anyone gets COVID or knew someone who had tested positive, he would be willing to prescribe them the protocol of drugs used by him and Dr. Tyson. I took the doctor at his word, and sure enough, when our church family was hit hard during a spike of COVID cases in the Imperial Valley, he prescribed the cocktail for over 80 of our members and their families.
Even though many were really sick before they received the cocktail, all responded well. Of the initial 80, none died or had to be intubated. At the same time, unfortunately, several of our members who hadn’t heard about the cocktail ended up being hospitalized, intubated, and five of their family members died."
Both Dr. George Fareed and Dr. Scott Jensen are brilliant, courageous men of honor.
They are healers in every sense of the word, and they are both likable gentlemen. But honor is the most compelling similarity between the two men. And honor is what our nation’s public health authorities so sorely lack.
Both Dr. Fareed and Dr. Jensen spoke before a Senate body in support of better patient care. Dr. Fareed testified before Senator Ron Johnson's Homeland Security Committee on November 19, 2020, while Dr. Jensen was elected to the Minnesota State Senate in 2016.

Senator Jensen served patient interests while a member of the legislature. He co-authored bills involving lowering prescription drug prices, improving opioid safety, telemedicine, and mental health.
Dr. Jensen is currently running for Governor of Minnesota, a position for which he feels he has a calling.

Dr. Scott Jensen feels a solemn theological obligation to offer his best to end the pandemic and corruption that have plagued medicine.

Dr. Harvey Risch, professor of epidemiology in the Department of Public Health at the Yale School of Medicine, is a key figure here as one of the most credible academics to support Hydroxychloroquine for the treatment of COVID-19, and the evidence is summed up in this recent interview with Mark Levin. The attacks against Dr. Jensen were particularly mean-spirited and relied upon guilt by association. But these assaults lacked any evidentiary basis and were about as credible as a Wikipedia-related fact check.
Stakeholders behind these attacks include Big Pharma and our three-lettered agencies, which have become defacto profit-making corporate subsidiaries of the drug companies.
Both Dr. Fareed and Dr. Jensen favor early outpatient treatment using a combination of repurposed drugs, including HCQ and Ivermectin. Repurposed drugs have shown great promise in the treatment of various cancers, viruses, and bacteria.

Dr. Jensen frequently cites the example of Legionnaire's Disease and the use of Erythromycin as a repurposed drug to treat a new disease effectively. Double-blinded randomized placebo-controlled trials were not necessary in this often fatal condition. See mark 26:10.
It was enough to see real-time benefit with numerous lives being saved. Similar evidence has become overwhelming, showing the benefit of HCQ and Ivermectin in the treatment and prevention of COVID-19. However, repurposed drugs continue to be blocked through the media and even the President, all due to massive political interests corrupting the practice of medicine.
Both doctors have serious concerns about the safety of the mRNA vaccines. The spike protein has been identified as a toxic substance in peer-reviewed studies. Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Tess Lawrie have been particularly vocal about the risks to blood vessels and, hence, heart attack, stroke, and blood clots.

The increasing incidence of cardiac inflammation in young, fit men has been disturbing. Many physicians feel the risks of the vaccine do not warrant its use in those under age 65 without co-morbid conditions. Iceland, Sweden, and Denmark halted their use of Moderna’s mRNA vaccinations because of this.
However, licenses of physicians who speak out against the vaccines can be in jeopardy. Those physicians who say anything against the government narrative can be targeted. Even Dr. Jensen, the Minnesota Family Physician of the Year for 2016, was threatened for his words. He still does house calls.

Dr. Jensen aims to change that. "Doctors should be able to have open and honest dialogue about medical issues."
Our CDC, NIH, FDA, and government health care policymakers have removed open and honest scientific dialogue. The President recently stated - in error - that those who decline to get vaccinated "have the freedom to kill (you) with (COVID)."
This is gross misinformation as the data show that vaccinated people can transmit the virus just as freely as those who are unvaccinated.

The fact is that the vaccines neither prevent transmission nor infection - a fact most non-medical people may not understand - which makes them vulnerable to propaganda aimed at dividing the country and turning people and even families against each other.
Joseph Goebbels, the chief Nazi propagandist, used this type of divisive propaganda to turn public hatred towards the Jews. A similar type of divisive propaganda now strikes against the unvaccinated.

But one thing should be abundantly clear. While Dr. Fauci may have graduated first in his medical school class at Weil Cornell, there is more to being a good doctor than smarts. A good doctor must have a soul and never sell it.
Unfortunately, many of today's physicians have followed Dr. Fauci's lead and sold out. Even by their silence, they have become unwittingly complicit in his crimes against humanity. Dr. Scott Jensen speaks out about how Dr. Fauci has “played” us all.
Dr. Jensen discusses the corporatization of medicine and the erosion of the physician-patient relationship. A patient needs to have full informed consent and retain decision-making in his medical care. However, it is equally crucial for that patient's physician to have the unfettered ability to prescribe and advocate for his patient.
We are all familiar with those pharmaceutical ads for Humira and similar drugs. There is always a section at the end that discusses potential risks. This commercial mentions that some have developed lymphoma and cancer and new or worsening heart failure.
This type of disclaimer has ALWAYS been required when advertising new drugs. So why is it that we cannot openly discuss the risks of the COVID vaccines and mention the potential for heart attack, stroke, sudden death, myocarditis, etc.?
Why is it that all we can hear from our whitewashed narrative is the falsehood that the COVID vaccines are “safe and effective?”
Dr. Jensen advocates for free and open scientific dialogue and restoration of the physician-patient relationship. He likens it to a rope or lifeline during a blizzard. A trusted personal doctor is essential, and he will guide you through a storm of misinformation and censorship. See mark 2:40 and 3:30.
In Jensen’s book, Relationship Matters: The Foundation of Medical Care is Fracturing, he sums it up quite succinctly, "In my mind, patients need to be in charge of their own health, and doctors need to be patient advocates. It's that simple."

Dr. Jensen writes about the EMR - the Electronic Medical Record - as symbolic of Big Brother. This has satisfied data gathering by the government at the expense of eye contact between patient and physician. Instead of improving quality, the EMR was just one step further into the State's intrusion into what should be a patient's health care privacy.
It has contributed to an epidemic in physician burnout and has driven a wedge between doctor and patient. Dr. Jensen correctly notices that the EMR dehumanizes the doctor-patient relationship.
He cites a 2015 article by Dr. Richard Morris - "Healthcare used to be about patients, nurses, and doctors. Now it's about insurers, lawyers, and most recently IT people."

Today in 2021, it is all about the "stakeholder." Stakeholders are those investors that stand to profit from a patient's medical treatment. They have more rights and control than either the patient or their physician. These "stakeholders" now include Big Pharma, the CDC, FDA, NIH, WHO, Gates Foundation, Wellcome Trust, and others.
What happened to the reason we have medical practice? Whatever happened to the patient?
As a result, a dying patient and his family's wish is no longer honored. They cannot be treated with continued Ivermectin even though they were improving on it.
Patients no longer are given the right to choose their preferred medical treatment. Medications are routinely denied. Now, this has expanded and begun to evolve into authoritarian political rule.
What can be done to prevent this from running further amok?
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn wrote The Gulag Archipelago, in which he described the horrors of authoritarian government - in particular, the misery of Communist Russia. Later, Vaclav Havel wrote about how "living in truth" freed his post-totalitarian Czech society. As a prolific playwright, Havel effectively communicated his ideas to the populace, which caused the regime's demise and paved the way for Havel to become the new president of Czechoslovakia.
Journalist Pankaj Mishra published an essay in The New Yorker on Havel and pointed out why he was perhaps the most relevant voice on totalitarianism in 21st century America:
“It may be more rewarding, however, to turn to Václav Havel: a writer and thinker who intimately experienced totalitarianism of the Orwellian kind, who believed that it had already happened in America, and who also offered a way to resist it.”

Havel predicted that the kind of regime in Orwell’s 1984 was “certain to appear in the West.” Pankoj distilled the essence of Havel’s concern. It was not about socialism versus capitalism.
Totalitarianism often emerged from the demoralization of society. Those who feel desperate and powerless often become angry and intolerant of others. Increased road rage events and shootings are symptomatic of this now. Whether we live in China or America makes little difference if we actively engage in hate, bigotry, and divisiveness.
This demoralization paves the way for an aspiring authoritarian ruler to gain support by offering Robin Hood handouts. Thus, citizens thereby become conditioned to depend on the government for guidance. They ultimately trust blindly – they become conditioned for dependence.
“A person who has been seduced by the consumer value system,” he wrote, and who has “no sense of responsibility for anything higher than his own personal survival, is a demoralized person. The system depends on this demoralization, deepens it, is in fact a projection of it into society.”
An indifference to humanity and morality is what fuels an authoritarian or totalitarian regime. But, unfortunately, that is precisely what is occurring today when most are afraid to challenge the authorities. But challenge by speaking out, as Dr. Jensen has done, is exactly what is required.
Active resistance is necessary because the moral and political indifference of demoralized, self-seeking citizens normalizes despotic power.
The antidote involves placing morality above politics.
“Placing morality above politics and responsibility above our desires, in making human community meaningful, in returning content to human speech, in reconstituting, as the focus of all social action, the autonomous, integral, and dignified human ‘I.’ ”
In short, it is about everything that Dr. Jensen and Dr. Fareed represent – ethics, truth, morality, love, and relationships.
Although Havel had his share of critics, he is credited by many with saving Czechoslovakia from totalitarian rule. Havel felt the antidote to a sick, harsh, hateful, and despotic society was twofold – one, returning to morality, and two, living in truth.
And that means calling out lies and being bound to higher principles than our material comforts or desire for money. Fear, hate, and censorship have no place in a free society that cherishes truth and human rights. Fear, hate, and censorship have no place in Thomas Jefferson’s America. And fear, hate, and censorship have no place in RFK’s vision of a free America.
“According to Havel, a true escape from despotism requires ‘living in truth,’ which means not only refusing all participation in the regime of untruth but also rejecting all false refuge in the ‘small pleasures of everyday life.’ He insisted that the individual ‘be bound to something higher…”
"Live not by Lies" was written by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, and the day of his release on February 12, 1974, he published this essay. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1970 for the ethical force of his writings.

Havel and Solzhenitsyn both point out that for a totalitarian regime to exist, the citizenry must enable it. But, unfortunately, passive doctors and scientifically naive citizens accept the mandates, which have led to ever-worsening lockdowns, losses of liberty, death, and economic devastation.
When the masses no longer remain malleable and accept lies, society changes, and totalitarianism dies.
Havel describes how the Czech citizens united in favor of the music group, The Plastic People, when they were unfairly arrested and tried. The Czech people were outraged and protested in the streets. Their show of unity undermined the totalitarian tactics of propaganda.

Today it is time to stop the nonsense. It is time to call out the lies and support our own version of the Plastic People. Ivermectin represents Human Rights and Freedom. We need to stop hating propagandized enemies and begin supporting our fellow human beings.
We need to emulate the character of our finest role models: Dr. George Fareed and Dr. Scott Jensen.
As a moral and free society, we must unite against how the medical establishment treated Jeffrey Smith.
As Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny.”
And as Robert Francis Kennedy stated, “What we need in the United States is not division; what we need in the United States is not hatred, what we need in the United States is not violence and lawlessness, but is love and wisdom, and compassion toward one another, and a feeling of justice toward those who still suffer within our country, whether they be white or whether they be black.” See mark 3:14.
And I must add – whether they be vaccinated or whether they be unvaccinated.
It is time to stop persecuting those who refuse to submit to forced vaccination. It is time to embrace honor and civility. It is time to end fear and hate. Return tolerance and love to society, and return medical practice to private decisions between doctors and patients. Let us put the soul back in medicine.
