Zelenko Protocols: COVID-19 Prophylaxis and Treatment

Image
What is the Zelenko protocol? The Zelenko COVID-19 Protocol was developed by Dr Vladimir Zelenko. A retrospective study analyzing Dr Zelenko's patient data was accepted for publication in the International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents after a rigorous peer review process. The study finds that early intervention and treatment of high-risk patients with COVID-19 resulted in significantly fewer hospitalizations and deaths. The treatment consisting of zinc, low-dose hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), and azithromycin, is also referred to as "The Zelenko Protocol." Dr Zelenko has since updated his protocols to incorporate new evidence. Introduction This webpage compiles content related to the early outpatient treatment protocol that has been proposed by  Dr. Vladimir Zelenko  for the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Dr. Zelenko originally risk-stratified patients and treated high-risk patients with hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and azithr...

Click to Enlarge Dr Vladimir Zelenko developed the famous  Zelenko Protocols . The protocol has as its centrepiece, but not exclusive piece, the combined use of Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and Zinc as a means by which a person can both help to prevent or mitigate the contraction of COVID-19, or can actually treat the disease once it has been diagnosed. Dr Zelenko continued his research into the body's immune system and elements that suppress the response mechanism to heal and defend. One of the most common is dormant viruses and parasites. While the immune system gets rid of most viruses, some linger inside us for prolonged periods, hiding quietly without causing any symptoms.  Such viruses include Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), Varicella-Zoster virus (VZV), Herpes viruses (ex Shingles, Chicken Pox), and Cytomegaly virus (CMV). These cause people to have a compromised immune system, such as the elderly and people with chronic infections. The consequences of these viruses' reactivati...

Dr Vladimir Zelenko Hydroxychloroquine Regimen Protocol for COVID-19

Image
The original Zelenko protocol consists of zinc, low-dose hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin (Zithromax). Based on rapidly emerging clinical trials evidence of ivermectin, an anti-parasitic medicine, has highly potent real-world, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties against COVID-19 virus, Dr Zelenko has also included  ivermectin  as part of his prevention and treatment protocols. Zelenko Covid-19 Prophylaxis Protocol Prophylaxis is an action taken to prevent, preventative or protect against a specified disease i.e. action taken before getting the infection. Greek in origin, from the word "phylax", meaning "to guard" and "watching." The Zelenko prophylaxis protocols are categorised based on the risk profile of the patients i.e. low, moderate or high risk. Low Risk Patients:  Young healthy people do not need prophylaxis against Covid-19. In young and healthy people, this infection causes mild cold-like symptoms. It is advantageous for these patients ...
