High-dose Ivermectin Shrinks Cancer Metastases - Dr Justus Hope

Image
In 2023, Dr Justus Hope reported on a case of Stage IV Colon Cancer that appeared hopeless . The gentleman, Rick, had widespread metastatic disease affecting the liver and lymph nodes and was told his cancer was “unsurvivable.” At most, he had six months left, according to his oncologist. Following adding Ivermectin, his tumor markers dropped from 1489 to 4.7, and his metastases calcified and shrunk. This was believed due to the anti-metastatic effect of Ivermectin as it suppresses the WnT Pathway, which cancer stem cells rely upon.   Dr. Tess Lawrie recently reported on a case of ovarian metastatic cancer with subsequent involvement of the peritoneum – a common spread area. Despite an initial tumor marker (Ca125) level of 288, following Ivermectin and three (9 weeks) chemotherapy sessions, her Ca125 level dropped to 22. There was a substantial regression with no trace of tumor on the peritoneum. Related:  The Surprising Potential of Ivermect...

The Prostate Cancer Diet You Need: Protect with Coffee, Green Tea & Broccoli – Avoid These Foods (2026)

Image
The article "The Prostate Cancer Secret: What You Eat Could Be Your Best Defense — or Worst Enemy" by Justus R. Hope (1) focuses on dietary factors influencing prostate cancer risk and progression. It is part of the author's broader "Repurposed Drugs: Powers & Possibilities" newsletter, which often covers alternative or off-label approaches to cancer and other conditions. Summary of the Article's Content The core argument is that certain common foods can strongly suppress prostate cancer (a hormone-sensitive cancer driven by androgen signaling and pathways like PI3K/Akt/mTOR, Wnt/β-catenin, Notch, Hedgehog, NFκB, STAT3, HIF-1α, and the Warburg effect), while others may promote it through mechanisms like elevated IGF-1, synthetic folic acid overload, glucose spikes, and disrupted metabolism. Protective foods highlighted (with cited evidence): - Coffee (>3 cups/day from real beans, due to caffeine): Linked to 53% lower risk in a 2017 Italian study (7,00...

Surviving Colon Cancer with Ivermectin - Dr Justus Hope

Image
As a practicing physician with decades of experience in teaching, it makes sense for me to speak out now about the colossal effectiveness of safe, cheap and readily accessible repurposed drugs now showing life-saving qualities for cancer patients. My friend Evan was given 12 months to live , given the average survival of someone with GBM. However, patients who have added repurposed drug cocktails have far exceeded this, with multiple documented survivals of more than five, ten, and even twenty years. For example, Dr. Ben Willams has survived his GBM for 28 years by successfully adding repurposed drug cocktails. Thus, I wrote a book on repurposed drugs, Evan used the information , and he is still alive and thriving nearly four years later . Now we turn to colon cancer. The standard of care involves highly toxic chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. Yet the 5-year survival is only about 15% . Consider that the chemotherapy usually is FOLFOX, a cocktail involving three drugs, 5-fluoroura...

ROOT Protocols: Preventing Cancer - Dr Paul Marik and Dr Justus Hope

Image
Abstract In 2022, approximately 20 million new cancer cases and 9.7 million cancer deaths occurred worldwide. By 2050, new cases are projected to double, driven by population growth, aging, and increased exposure to risk factors. Up to 40% of cancers may be preventable by addressing lifestyle and environmental risk factors. Numerous nutraceuticals and repurposed drugs exhibit chemoprophylactic properties. Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), a polyphenol in green tea, appears to be the most effective agent against multiple cancers, followed by curcumin, a . polyphenol derived from turmeric (Curcuma longa), vitamin D, and omega-3 fatty acids. Using artificial intelligence and leveraging synergistic effects among these compounds, we developed the ROOT 3, ROOT 4, ROOT 5, ROOT 6, and ROOT 9 chemoprophylactic protocols. The mechanistic activity of each nutraceutical is described, along with the estimated risk reduction for the most common types of cancer. These protocols may offer a low-risk an...

Preventing Cancer Relapse: Targeting Stem Cells with the Updated CSC Tree, Repurposed Drugs, and Natural Strategies - Independent Medical Alliance (2025)

Image
Insights from Dr. Paul Marik and Dr. Justus Hope on the hidden drivers of cancer relapse, featuring the revamped CSC Cancer Tree and practical strategies using repurposed drugs and natural compounds. Cancer treatment often succeeds—until it doesn’t. A tumor shrinks. A scan looks clean. The patient goes home hopeful. And then… the cancer returns, sometimes more aggressive than before. The answer lies with a small population of cells that most standard treatments ignore: cancer stem cells (CSCs). These cells not only survive chemotherapy and radiation but adapt and return, driving relapse, metastasis, and mortality.   Dr. Paul Marik and Dr. Justus Hope have collaborated to highlight this critical issue, offering a free guide that explains CSCs, why conventional therapies fail against them, and how safe, affordable repurposed drugs and natural compounds can target them for long-term remission. This guide builds on earlier work, including the CSC Cancer Tree from Dr. Hope's 2020 book,...
